  1. Did you overclock your PC? I had similar issues with my overclocked PC; benchmarks and stability tests were flawless but random black screens in some games like NFS Heat... I turned the OC down a bit and finally this game run flawlessly.
  2. Did you overclock your GPU, too? I had the same problem on my old AMD platform but mostly GPU-related freezes in BF4. Furthermore check the Temp-Limit of the CPU which is currently set in your bios/uefi - I had an ASUS Crosshair Formula-Z and ASUS set it to 63°C. Beyond that system turned off or freezed.
  3. Well, in my opinion there could not be anything but the cooler's performance. Just get a decent double tower cooler with one or two 120mm fans and you should be doing pretty cool. (I recommend something like the be quiet! Shadow Rock 2 - decent cooler for little money) And also turn your bios/uefi to stock settings especially stock voltage.
  4. Sounds to me like a defective cooler. Try another one. I had have my Alpenföhn K2 sitting on my FX 8350 @ 1,5V (4,8+GHz) for years and never ran above 62°C. PS: I am still using this air-cooler, but this time on my Intel Build.
  5. Hey there, maybe try to reset to a recent restore point within Windows 10.
  6. Well, sometimes you could be lucky using the compatibilty mode within windows... sometimes...
  7. Is your CPU cooler running properly? Can you check the temps in UEFI within those 15 seconds?
  8. Did you overclock CPU/RAM? Did you activate X.M.P.? If you were completely on stock settings you should try plugging out some RAM-Sticks and test them individually. I do get the same behavior when I do my overclocking.
  9. Well, I repeat - You can clone partitions OR just backup the drive - more specifically the content of the drive(s). But I agree that the Linux Live USB will be the easiest way to copy the files.
  10. For general backup due to a new installation of an OS I am using CloneZilla. All you have to do is to create a Linux Live USB stick and put CloneZilla on it. It runs in live mode and you have the option to clone the partition(s) or just simple backup the drive(s).
  11. Do this blue screens come within a certain time span or just randomly? 1st I would check the temps (if even possible) and check if your AIO water cooler running well, especially the pump. Maybe reapply thermal compound. 2nd I would check the RAM. Unplug all modules except for one module and run Memtest86+ (I use CloneZilla for memtesting). Go for it and test every module individually. 3rd UnRAID your RAID 0 array and check if the problem still exists when running Windows from one SSD without having RAID modes configured. A SSD normally fixes itself, therefore I would not recommend using "chkdsk" for those SSD's. 4th Run your graphics setup with just one GPU to test whether this could cause the problem. Please tell us which PSU you are using.
  12. I still guess it is a thermal problem. 85 degrees while on water is likely too high (at least in my opinion). Check your water cooling unit whether it works properly and maybe reapply the cooler onto the cpu with some new thermal compound. If this does not help maybe try to use your stock cooler and check if the problem still exists. If you go for the stock cooler you should not overclock...
  13. Did your front panel work as you had Ubuntu installed? Seems to me like the front panel audio connector is not plugged into the motherboard or at least not into the right motherboard jack. You should leave the BIOS/UEFI setting on HD - Audio.
  14. Try to use prime95 for a decent amount of time and check your CPU's temperature. If your systems restarts again reseat your CPU. Do prime95 again. If the problem still exists only use one RAM stick and prime95 again.
  15. It is a Corsair AX 760 80+ Platinum...
