  1. Firstly I apologies for the long post. I've tried to mention all the issues I've been experiencing and the current troubleshooting steps I've tried. If any other information is needed please ask, at this point I'm willing to try anything . Specs AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (DeepCool GAMMAXX GT (w/ 2x Noctua Industrial PPC)) (Max 55° under Aida System Stability Test) 32GB Corsair LPX DDR4 @ 3000Mhz (2X 16GB) MSI B350M Mortar (BIOS: 7A37v1K) Sapphire Vega 56 Pulse (Max 70° under Kombustor) Fractal Integra M 550W Samsung 970 EVO 500GB Windows 10 Pro 1903 + LTSC 1809 AMD Radeon Settings 19.7.1 + 19.5.2 + 19.6.* Solus Linux Might be important to know that I run no page file due to having 32GB of RAM / Minimal SWAP in Linux BSOD Dump File: (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1rthRYufUZuyP6FnLydk15zF9SK86ysbl) - Sysnative BSOD Dump + System File Collection (https://drive.google.com/open?id=10uS6SsEtK1_qDDHhRT0mBILKXcASmx5j) - Nirsoft BlueScreenView Issue: While running Windows 10 Pro 1809 the system was fully stable with a 3.8Ghz 1.35v OC on the CPU and A-XMP enabled. Update 1903 was pushed a month ago and led to instability issues. These range from BSOD's (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT) to complete system lockups. These issues occur across Windows re-installs and within Solus Linux (black screen lockup or freezing and locking up). This only occurs during most games (CSGO, Duck Game, PC Building Simulator), not in web browsing or general use. Current Troubleshooting Steps: The OC and XMP have been reduced and removed with the issues still existing. The PC has passed an overnight MemTest and still experiences issues with either RAM stick removed. Running Aida64 System Stability tests on its own the system is stable, running with MSI Kombustor leads to "Hardware Failure Detected" messages in Aida. Kombustor still runs fine. Fresh versions of Windows 10 Pro and LTSC running 1903 and 1809 have been installed, both experience the same issues. AMD Drivers have been updated multiple times, whenever a new version is available and older versions have been installed with the same issues. AMD Chipset drivers have been updated. At this point I'm pulling hair out. Later today I'm receiving a known good GTX 1060 and will retry some tests with this card. My current theory is the 500w PSU can no longer power this system or the GPU is somehow at fault in either hardware or software. Any help is appreciated and thanks for reading. Edit: Appears a RAM slot on the motherboard was slowly dying. Now the RAM is detected but listed as Reserved within Windows. Upgrade to 3000 series comes early I guess
  2. HI, For Christmas I upgraded from a: Intel i5 2320 @ 3Ghz and a Asus P8H61-MX to a: Intel Xeon E3-1230v3 @ 3.3Ghz and a Asus H97M-E. The new parts ran fine for one day of playing GTA V but it started to black screen. These black screens occured in Windows 7 across different games such as The Binding of Issac: Rebirth to even the desktop. I booted into Ubuntu which also black screened and also the BIOS black screened. I re-installed Windows 10 on a different PC which also black screened, but sound can be heard and sent through a Skype call during the black screen. In some of the black screens my R9 270 would turn it's fan speed up as if it was overheating, but it stayed below 50°. The CPU also stayed below 50°. I switched GPU's from my R9 270 to my 550ti which still black screened and now my PC won't give any output to my monitor. Here are a full list of my specs if it helps. 3. I want it because of it's size. My current Minix Z64 W hasn't got enough power for in home streaming and native gameplay on my TV.

  5. Thanks to D3MON for helping with the answer, the cause was both the 2d mode and also power saving mode activated inside Windows 7 (should have probably looked before)
  6. My CPU is an old Sand Bridge i5 2320 at 3GHZ. Also I play my games at 1080P.
  7. Shouldn't need a dust out yet (was planning to do that every 6 months) also my room is not near 27C. When cranking the fan speeds up it seems to do very little to improve these temperatures. However this could be due to bad airflow in my old crappy Coolermaster case.
  8. Its also not just Garrys Mod. In Battlefield 4 I get around 80% CPU usage and around 40% for GPU on the lowest settings. On high its around 80%. I have not tried using different drivers yet though so may try that.
  9. Hi, I want to start this topic by stating that it is in the summer in England however my side panel is off on my computer and I have a fan blowing on it. I have had my R9 270 for around 3 months. Recently my card's PCB on the top has been really heating up even though MSI afterburner states that it is only 50 degrees I believe that it is hotter. After playing Garry's Mod for a while it will jump from around 1000 MHZ to 450 MHZ. I have tried lowering the power input on the overclock however this makes no changes. What should I do?
  10. Like the look of the TJ08 thanks.
  11. Hi, I have been using a Cooler MAster Elite 335U (http://eu.coolermaster.com/uk/product/Detail/case/mid-tower-elite-series/elite-335u.html) for 2 years now and want to upgrade. I am using a micro atx motherboard and want the case to be fairly small in width (AKA not a cube case like the Node 804). Any suggestions. I am only using one graphics card with no other expansion slots and a small (around 150mm) PSU. Also sorry if I did something wrong with placing this post. I'm a newbie.
