Would this let me use iMessage on android? Austin just made a video a few weeks ago on how to do it, but it requires a mac. What are the specifics of the part when Anthony said getting Facetime and iMessage working are hit or miss?

Social Club is actually pretty nice. It allows you to interact cross platform. Its a lot like Steam Workshop, except no mods (that we know of?)

There are only about 408 people in this drop, but this thread is more about how Massdrop is handling it. The email to all those who participated in the drop This definitely sucks, but Massdrop allowing refunds is pretty awesome.

I use dual monitors and am very often more of a tab whore than Linus. All of these tabs are important and I dont want to close and reopen them between gaming sessions. Your statement of 8GB for gaming is fine, but not everyone ONLY runs games Gaming alongside of tab whoring REQUIRES more than 8GB of RAM, especially when Chrome sucks resources like a Hummer sucks gasoline

Computer doesn't get 400 FPS in League of Legends :|
KingDaddyDaniel replied to Bit8xPr0's topic in Troubleshooting
That's the Nerve Gear playing tricks on your mind. You're actually getting 400FPS. Dont worry about it -
@CartertheCOCguy I would get a decent 1TB HDD and put windows and programs on that. A WD Blue drive would be fine Save your SSD space for games.

Hollywood - " Google fibre Leads to more piracy"
KingDaddyDaniel replied to ahhming's topic in Tech News
Yes, you can log in with the same account on as many as you want Actually you're only allowed to connect a limited amount of devices at one time, but you're also limited on how many simultaneous streams you can have on the same account. I would need multiple accounts for example: for my brother, my mother, my neighbor, and myself. -
Yes, those will work. I would also find some scrap metal to practice engraving, so you can get a feel for what you want to do
-
Ask the coworker you bought the card from to contact the retailer/manufacturer for you and request an RMA. That said, I would highly suggest that you not pay for a repair unless its <$20 because there is no guarantee that the repair will solve your issue.

Hollywood - " Google fibre Leads to more piracy"
KingDaddyDaniel replied to ahhming's topic in Tech News
I pirate because internet speeds are too slow to stream from netflix or hulu. If I had some fiber, then you better believe that I'd be paying for several netflix accounts just to cover all of the devices in my home -

Ordered mine through Massdrop. Still waiting on it to ship, but all of the reviews I saw were great. -
Newegg-US Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB SATA III SSD $52.99
KingDaddyDaniel replied to Hangfire's topic in Hot Deals
I bought my refurbished pair of Corsair Force GT 120GB SSDs for $50 USD each and I've had them in a RAID 0 array for almost a year without any problems. I dont write to them a lot, but my read speeds are >600MB/s (loading screens make me rip my eyes out, so this setup is a must) -
If I had a NUC for a media server, I would be sooo happy

I play CoD:AW, LoL, and Titan Fall. I'm a hardcore player, but I like to keep variety, so that I dont play until I get burned out

4K at 120Hz no AA vs 1080p at 120Hz no AA. DSR with NVIDIA graphics cards aren't a direct comparison, but can definitely give you a feel for 4K.
-
If you ever decide to do any video editing, then you could always invest in a colorimeter such as the ColorMunki or Datacolor's Spyder4Express
-
4K 120hz g-sync coming from 1080p is comparable to youtube videos at 720p 60fps coming from 480p 30fps

ah, offer him $150 and negotiate a price

If your desk is deep enough (front to back), then you could put the tower directly behind your monitor. I use this approach at LAN parties for a smaller footprint

that is an amazing deal for a full setup. I would jump on that ASAP if i had a CL post like that in my area
-
I would spend $100-150 on an SSD. Getting in an Advanced Warfare or Titan Fall match before everyone else is extremely satisfying. No more loading screens is heaven and I will never build a system without an SSD again

Couldn't you just manually keep the speakers turned all the way up and then just use the FireStick remote to control the volume remotely? Ah, lol just making sure you see the post, as I assumed you're new here and didn't know to follow your posts

{US - Newegg} $74.99 USD Dell 20" 1600x900 Budget Monitor
KingDaddyDaniel replied to KingDaddyDaniel's topic in Hot Deals
use a spoiler or dont quote the picture xP My first build had a gtx+ 9800 in it and cost me around $200 for the entire build. I was on a budget at 14 and felt like $25 for a used monitor was too much. If you've been a member for more than a couple days, then I'm sure you've noticed the abundance of children on this forum that have practically no budget
