  1. Your videos have been very informative and have always helped me stay informed with technology . Please keep doing what you're doing.
  2. If you are looking to get into a bit more advanced photography and you don't mind getting used and slightly older stuff I would recommend either the Panasonic GF2 @ $250 USD w/14mm lens: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/800953946-USE/panasonic_dmc_gf2ck_lumix_dmc_gf2_digital_micro.html Or the Olympus E-P1 @ $250 usd w/14-42mm lens: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/800955165-USE/olympus_262811_e_p1_pen_digital_camera.html If you're just looking for point and shoot then the pretty much most of the Canon Powershots would do you,
  3. Fuji X-E1 with the 18-55mm F2.8-4, currently waiting for the 23mm F1.4 to be released.
  4. This is over double the price you were looking into spending for ear buds and I am only mentioning this for your consideration: The Shure SE215 would be the lowest priced ear buds I would personally recommend at $99, the main selling point other than the sound would be the detachable cord since you normally can't find that with lower priced ear buds. Other nice features is that it comes with a case, six ear tips and an cleaner if you get wax build up. Yeah it's a lot more money, but from personal experience I would have to say that it is money well spent since the cord is replaceable if you ever ruin the cord. (I've used the SLC3 in the past and upgraded to the SE425s) Plus it sounds great. Other than that, I would consider getting a compact portable over ear like h264 mentioned.

    Need New Headset

I would just like to add that the AKG K70X headphones don't really come to life unless you amp them, also they may not be the best choice depending on the volume you have them set to since they're an open back design and will leak a lot of sound that can spill over to your microphone. (this can also be a positive if you want to be able to hear around you) I think going for a proper set of headphones with an extra microphone is the best option as well; personally I am using the AKG Q701s (w/Matrix M-Stage) with a Blue Yeti.
  6. Check your speaker output settings, for example if you have headphones you only have a 2.0, whereas if you have 5 speakers and a sub you would have 5.1; if you configure your speaker settings to have more speakers than you have it can create this echo effect. (So if you have headphones and you have it set to 5.1)
  7. If you're willing to spend the money then go for it; water cooling is all about silence rather than performance. Just keep in mind that it can easily get very expensive; I ended up spending around $1000 just on water cooling components.
  8. At this point in time if you can find one it will likely not be that much cheaper, it is likely you will not even see much of a price drop due to age.
  9. Your internet speeds that you experience comes down to a couple of factors: - As ruffee mentions it could be your ISP package and it simply is not fast enough to handle everyone all at once - Similarly it more people are using connecting to the internet in your area (outside of your house) and could also cause slow downs during peak hours - Someone in your household could be hogging your routers bandwidth by having a torrent open or something else Personally I have the WRT310N with DD-WRT firmware which allows me to monitor how much bandwidth is being used as well as how much of the routers processing power is being used. Unfortunately it seems like yours does not support DD-WRT, you might be able to see some information in the default linksys management gui though. Other steps you can take in addition to rufee's suggestion would be to also check the traffic on both computers and tablets (since they can torrent too), as well you could also during mid-day when you normally experience this slow down, manually disconnect everyone temporarily from the router except yourself to see if the speed increases significantly.
  10. I'd say go for a pair of IEMs like the Shure SE425. As OddballMV points out correctly open or even semi-open (to a certain extent) aren't really ideal for public use since you can hear your surroundings and people can also hear what you do. Red_Jelly, "I'd mainly [it on]... my iPhone" some of the headphones mentioned like the Q701 for example won't be great for use with a portable device since they these type of headphones require something with more punch and won't be able to drive the headphone properly; there are plenty of decent other over-ear headphones as well that were mentioned which would work nicely though. Personally for portable devices I prefer to use IEMs and stationary on my computer I use my Q701s with a desktop amp.
  11. What size are you looking for? something big? full tower? something small?
  12. You'd end up with the same scum build up in your loop as you would in your fish tank.
  13. Yes with a bios update it does work: http://www.overclock.net/t/1333291/fx-8350-works-in-the-crosshair-iv-extreme-bios-ver-3027
  14. I have a Blace Ice GT Xtreme 420mm on the top of my Switch 810 without any modification with enough room to do push pull if you use 140mm fans; the only thing you have to do is remove the top 5.25" bay with a few screws. You can also mount a 280mm radiator vertically by attaching it to the hard drive cage.
