  1. I'm using right now the Logitech Wave keyboard and it's starting to wear out, so a change to a mechanical keyboard would be great
  2. @Starelementpoke No, I don't have an opportunity to order from UK or Germany
  3. I was also thinking about those Radeons but I've got a headache of choosing between 390 and 970 because in most benchmarks I saw 390 wins in resolutions above 1080 and 970 wins in 1080 but those fps are close to each other. I want this pc to be somewhat "futureproof" and in the end I'm leaning towards 390 (non-x). Is it a good choice?
  4. From what I have learned BitFenix already presented an ATX version of Pandora case on Computex 2015 but it was not specified when this case will be available in Europe as it was a sort-of prototype.
  5. Hey guys I'm facing a fact of buying a new PC because my i7 920 is aging (I think , it also has C0 stepping which is much worse overclocker than D0) and GPU which was in it (HD4850 1GB) died a while ago. I have a nice offer to sell it and I'll have about 1000 dollars of savings for a new rig ( btw - I live in Poland so prices vary a lot from these in USA or Canada because of taxes). I will use it mostly for gaming but I'm starting to study at college in October so few renderng and 3D applications work may happen from time to time. I don't need a lot of expansion also. At this moment I use single 1080p Samsung P2370HD monitor but I'm planning on buying in the next year or two new 21:9 panel (maybe 3440x1440p but rather 2560x1080p). Only one condition for this PC, it must have BitFenix Pandora (I absolutely fell in love with it ) or case which also looks so stunning. And another question - should I wait for bigger ATX Pandora or this mATX version is good? I'd like this PC also to last for about 4 years as my X58 platform, with possible small upgrades. Thanks in advance for all your help EDIT: Sorry, forgot to add that I'm going to keep my 1TB WD Blue HDD and I have Win 7 64-bit copy
  6. I would use this 6-core beast with X99 motherboard to upgrade my old PC with Core 2 Quad Q6600 and start some content creating.
  7. I'm so happy that I found the Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel and then this forum. Linus, your videos have helped me a lot of time to choose a best for a buck parts for rigs I have built. Thank you very very much and keep up the good work
  8. I'm just asking because I have now i7 920 on MSI X58 Platinum and it idles at about 50 Celsius so I'm worried about temps especially when OC. But as you say I will leave this 612 in this. Thanks
  9. Thanks for so much support, and because you mentioned that will be better to get AiO, then which will be better? Corsair H100i or H110? I'm green in all this watercooling stuff
  10. Hi guys, I'm planning on a new gaming rig for me and I'm kinda confused about what parts should I get for it. For now I have planned this configuration but I'm thinking about that I can get something cheaper and improve something else. I want this pc to last for at least 4 years in 1080p gaming. This pc will be mainly for gaming and entertainment usage, not video rendering. I'm also thinking about dual system on this computer: Mac OS X (Hackintosh) and Windows Parts: CPU - Intel Core i7 4790 or i5 4690K CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 612S RAM - 2 x 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600 MHz Motherboard - Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 3 GPU - Zotac GTX 780 3 GB OC PSU - Corsair CS 750M SSD - ADATA SX900 256 GB Case - Phanteks Enthoo Pro My question is: I'm not convinced that i5 will be a CPU which will last me for a long time but price is very tempting Should I get a i5 4690K and some sort of AiO cooler instead of i7? Thanks for help with this, also if you have some other comments about this build please tell me
