No. Each computer, if its windows 7/8/8.1 license is valid, will get it's own free upgrade to windows 10.
No need to downgrade any other computer to make another able to upgrade.
I've stumbled upon an issue with the start menu - trying to pin or unpin tiles has started requiring me to log out and back in to my account to work for some reason. Done some googling and there's an issue if you go over 512 apps, but I only have 200...
Check your device manager, I was having that issue but it turned out one of the "keyboard" devices was actually also my mouse, and any slight twitch in the mouse for any reason (vibration from a window or door closing slightly hard, for example) could cause it to wake the system. I'd make it so only your keyboard can wake your computer, for now.
Also notifications and Skype calls can wake the computer unless you change some settings.
