  1. So i'm looking to get a new internet plan and its come down to Bell Fibe 50 and a couple of Rogers plans, Ignite 150u and Ignite 500u. As far as I know, Bell uses Fibre whereas Rogers uses cable. Bell is offering 50/10 whereas Rogers is offering 150/15, 500/20. What would be better? Theres about a $5-10 difference between the plans, is cable really that much worse than Fibre?
  2. Budget's about $2000 CAD, so XPS 15 is better?
  3. Turns out I can get the XPS 15 for $100 more with a 4k display and a 960m, should I go for it or stick with the XPS 13(Infinity Edge)? Only thing is that the XPS 15 uses i7 6700hq whereas the XPS 13 has a i7 7560U, is it a big difference?
  4. So I'm considering to buy the XPS 13 (i7-7560U/16GB/512GB) laptop for uni, software engineering, will it be good enough? I'm also going to have a fairly decent desktop for at home/dorm work.
  5. Do you have any other suggestions I should look into?
  6. Hey guys, so I'm going to be headed to university soon and I'm planning to pick up a laptop/tablet within the next couple of weeks. Right now I'm leaning towards the Surface machines (Surface book/Surface Pro) because of their portability and battery life but I'm a bit hesitant because they don't have thunderbolt in case I get an eGPU or something along those lines. Any suggestions?
  7. No worries :') It was a great try! If you think of anything else, please post it.
  8. Are you sure its 663.59 WITH the tax included?
  9. I don't think he really needs one, he'd rather have a better gpu than an ssd Ill try looking for one
  10. So my friend recently asked me to help me make a computer with his budget being $500 - $650CAD including tax. He's going to be using it for mostly gaming and streaming videos. I'm going to be giving him a case (200r) and a hard drive that I have laying around so he doesn't need to buy one. I haven't been keeping up with computer parts recently so I don't know which parts would be the best. This is what I have so far but it's just over his preferred budget: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/mGzKD8 - Im not too sure about keeping the 560, I might just pick up a 1050 for him if its worth it He also wants something that he could upgrade later in the future without spending too much money Could he do better? Any suggestions?
  11. So im looking to buy a smart watch thats fairly priced (in CAD) and I came across the Asus ZenWatch 2 for $200. Is it a good buy? Or is there a better watch around its price? My budget is around $240 CAD. Thanks!
  12. Acoustic music, rap, and pop....cant really specify one...sorry Will the DT770 sound okay with a S7 Edge as well? I need something that can be used with my phone and my computer
  13. So I want to upgrade from the earbuds I use right now to a decent pair of closed back headphones. So far I've seen the Audio-Technica M40x and the sennheiser hd 598cs. Are there any other ones better than these? If there isnt which one would you go for?
