  1. Main point: What would make for a good cpu/mobo pairing for a gtx780? quality, but not looking for frills the situation: I built myself my first system with a 4670k and gtx780 back around when the 780ti launched. Later I upgraded to a gtx1080 during the gtx20xx launch price drops. Since I still have my 780 I was thinking of using it in a build for my mom and little brother. My mom's old PC is a relic and is crashing nonstop, I'd rather throw something more modern together than mess with it she would just use the new PC for web browsing, my brother for homework and gaming(maybe, hard to gauge his interest). secondary talking points: should I even bother? would it be better to just do a basic web browsing machine with an apu? and forget about it being a gaming machine (poor 780 sits in the box forever) should I just put the 780 back in my current system, give that to them, and build a newer PC around my 1080?
  2. either polaris 10 or 11 card would be great! I run a 780 and 4670k in my main rig, but the computer for my sister and brotherinlaw is a 960 and 6300, I'm sure I could upgrade either of these, or just build a rig for my little brother (if I'm feeling generous )

  5. Favorite thing about the ASUS G550JK is the brushed finish (a close second is the signitures on the bottom )
