  1. I would get a WASD Code keyboard for my mom. She does all her work on her computer and the phone, and she has a $5 rubber dome piece of garbage. I think this would make her enjoy her time behind her desk a lot more, as well as be able to work more comfortably in the dark (she hates over head lights) as she tends to do more often than not. If I were looking to hit the $300 limit, I would get another for my sister who actually works for my mom's business and does many of the same things as my mom, but she is more on the move and doesn't have a permanent desk setup. http://www.amazon.com/87-Key-Illuminated-Mechanical-Keyboard-Backlighting/dp/B00LTAEV0K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1449805706&sr=8-2&keywords=wasd+code Cool idea for a giveaway guys.
  2. I really like the monochromatic look of their peripherals. the black on black keycaps on their keyboard is awesome.
  3. 5871st in your face everyone else. A NUC would be baller, much less expensive than building another PC for my living room.
  4. I am having an issue with the NZXT logo dimming. I have seen that it is common with early batches. I have emailed NZXT support, but since I am not the original owner of my h440, I cannot get a replacement one from NZXT. (I would be willing to buy one if they let me.) Has anyone replaced the LED's manually? Is there a guide to do so?
  5. Can I be part of the club? These may be a bit premature since I am buying an AIO tomorrow, but I just took these pictures so I wanted to share. I came from having an H230, tomorrow I am adding an h105 ($88 at Fry's! What!!) and an LED fan for a little inside illumination. I found this case on CL a few months ago and I knew I needed it. At the time there was no way to get one new (They're back in stock on the NZXT Armory store now), so I jumped on it. No ragrets. Will post more pictures after additions tomorrow. CPU: i7 4770 CPU Cooler: Thermaltake OEM replacement, Corsair H105 (11/2) MOBO: Z87X-UD4H Memory: 16GB from an HP Workstation SSD: SanDisk x110 64gb (OS only) HDD: Some random drives from old PC's GPU: MSI GTX770 Gaming SLI PSU: Corsair AX750 Fully Modular Case: H440 Black/Blue...duh OS: Windows 7 Ultimate EDIT 11/9: A couple hurried photos during/after the H105 install, better ones to come later. I also plan to cover the hoses with painted vinyl tubing. I accidentally bought the wrong size tubing the first time so I haven't been able to do it yet. Was particularly proud of the extra fan placement here. I wanted the LED 140 in the rear so it could bring some illumination to the main section, so I ziptied this one into place to feed air straight to my 770's. My temps have improved across the board.
  6. I was considering it because I have access to some Intel stuff at reduced prices. When I was looking for this info, Intel was my only option. Thankfully circumstances changed and I decided on the 840 EVO because of the plethora of positive reviews, and the higher random read IOPS. Although most information that I found said despite the on paper difference, there is almost no detectable real world difference, so get what you want.
  7. Wow, none of these people were helpful at all. I have the same question, if I find a definitive answer to justify the extra price I will come back and post it.
  8. Am I the only one that doesn't really see a huge place in the market for a triple slot 970? Quest is nice but that's just too big. Would be cool to win one anyway, I'm sure I could find a place for it somewhere!
  9. This keyboard was so beautiful when it was first shown, and still is, but with every other company coming out with RGB stuff now I think I will just wait and hope Ducky makes a Shine RGB in the near future. If that happens, it will be worth the wait. Also thank you Linus for pointing out the stupidity of the new logo, it is awful.
  10. I found LinusTechTips several months ago by accident, I have watched every video you have posted since then. You helped me build my system and you helped me help my best friend build his system. We both have seen a countless number of your videos, and will continue to watch them in the future. I would love to see a constantly updated list on all your favorite devices. Maybe top 3 in every major category (monitor, mouse, keyboard) and what you currently use/what you are excited to get your hands on. Congrats on a million!
  11. I hate that this is my first post, I've been meaning to make an account for a while now. Thanks Linus for all your help, I couldn't have finished my recently built system without your videos. My favorite part about the G3 is that godly screen. I don't even have a 1440p screen for my desktop, I couldn't imagine having one in my hands.
