Not every game is gonna need full Ray Tracing. Indiana Jones and another game just uses the RT cores to computer the lighting rather than having the main cores do it. It's not just about RTX on/off it's about utilizing what's gonna be in the GPU anyways to make the workflow easier. A happy benefit is it should raise the image quality floor some. But ... That is TBD since I'm only 3 games out are doing that. Indiana Jones, Doom 3 (new doom 3 not old doom 3 or older doom 3d) and another game
Did Nvidia finally get their graphics drivers stable? Friend is having some issue with GTA online since it's big update but he is running drivers from last year still because of all the issues. He has a RTX 3080ti
That's fine. It's about time we drop all non-RT ready cards. They serviced us well, but just like when we moved to unified cores, progress must continue on. If RT ready cards make it easier to do general lighting, go for it.
It's at this time we gotta remember it's a different country with different values and principles than the USA. Apple stood up to the USA government before. Last think I think any of you wanna hear is that 'your job has been terminated because we are trying to do the right thing' from a tech company.

ARM is the future, or something like it because more and more companies are going to go with purpose built machines that lock you into an ecosystem so you have to constantly give them money. Intel and AMD wanna do this too so maybe the x86 board will keep that at bay a little longer
I'm sorry i7-8809G that everyone forgets you existed. I will do my best to carry on your legacy. XD Intel and AMD work together all the time, just it's not in super sexy ways so us enthusiasts just ignore it because it's not more fps and normies never care.
I am! Nvidia is taking the twins on the standard it made and actually enforcing and improving it. Unlike Intel and it's power plans or AMD and its.....power plans xD
