    Is the 390 actually more powerful though? I was reading somewhere that when they launched the 970 was still a better option at the time because the r9 390 was unstable.

    Hello, I am thinking of getting a new gpu most likely GTX 970. And it had me thinking, should i get the blower or open air design? I know how both work but i want to explain the situation. I live in southern California where the temperatures can get pretty hot and never have the air conditioner on. I have fans in the front and rear of my PC so airflow should be pretty good. My room temperature is usually hot throughout the day. Also, noise does kind of bother me for GPUS if thats a concern to mention. In the winters it will get much cooler too, just hot in summers. So after all these situations mentioned, what do you think would be a better option? Thanks!

    I recently tried adding in a second monitor to my PC. My primary monitor is connected to the HDMI port and my second monitor is connected to the DVI port. So whenever i try booting it makes a beep sound as normal but right after it show the blinking cursor (underscore). I tried booting with only the secondary monitor but still the same thing. Then i tried with only my primary monitor and it works. However when i plug in the secondary monitor after the computer booted, it works with dual monitors. It is very strange to me how a monitor could do this but if you know please reply. Thanks.

    OK thanks, it looks like it would be best to just take out the 4GB stick then.

    I have a single 4GB stick of ram(1333 speed) and plan on getting an 8GB kit that comes with 2x 4GB sticks(1866 speed). Should i leave the current 4GB stick in and in the other two? Or should i take it out stay with 8GB? If it's better to have 12GB in, can you explain how i should order them in the DIMM slots? I have a total of 4 DIMM slots. Thanks.

    Would you recommend me to use all three or only have them in dual channel?

    I would like to use unreal engine 4 so maybe i would need the faster productivity. I have a single 4gb stick. And i would get 2x 4gb sticks so they would run in dual channel with the 4gb stick running single channel.

    I have 4gb of ram at 1333mhz and want to upgrade. My question is, should i get 8gb of ram at 1333mhz or should i just get 8gb of ram at 1600mhz and just let the 4gb ram that i have currently taken out to be at waste? i want to have the best performance possible and would hate to have to waste that 4gb memory.
