Welcome everyone to the third annual September Midweek Madness! 

As temperatures lower in the northern hemisphere, the time is great to raise the heat and start folding! I can practically hear the fans of all 39 participants speeding up. I'm TheLANguy, leader of the LTT BOINC team. Since @GOTSpectrum has stepped down from the position of folding team leader, I will be bringing you daily point updates and commentary for this event. I'm not nearly as good of a writer as Spec, but I'll be giving it my all. 

LET THE FOLDING SEASON BEGIN!

Please keep in mind, the minimum participation requirements are:

- Activity on each day of the event (at least 1 WU per day) 

- Complete at least ten work units by the end of the event.

-  Produce at least 100,000 points by the end of the event. 

These are the same as the last few years so it should be easy to qualify.

This year we are going to be cranking up the madness! There may be daily winners and a day when all new points earned will be doubled... Make sure you're following the blog to stay updated as soon as they're announced!

This event is a great chance to shake the cobwebs out of your system and prepare for November's folding month. Is your system ready? I'm excited to see what the team is capable of! As always, please remember that this is a friendly event, but we are all folding away for Science, AND GLORY! See you tomorrow.
