I use my old Pixel 3 for some smart home things on my local network. I found out a bit ago it had died. It still receives a charge and connects via USB, but no screen or button presses wake it. On closer inspection, it appears to have gone into Qualcomm EDL (Emergency Download) mode, which requires the Firehose image be applied to it. It seems to be a well known problem that Google doesn't release these... I was planning to put CRDroid on it, which would let me use Android 15 with it. It didn't
