  6. From https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x670e-e-gaming-wifi-model/helpdesk_qvl_memory/. Highlight is mine. "Ensure that all memory modules are from the same validated memory kit. Do not mix DIMMs from different memory kits—even if they are the same brand and model (e.g., two DIMMs each from two different memory kits). Mixing and matching DIMMs can result in a failure to boot and compatibility issues. In particular, the stability of a system with mixed DIMMs cannot be guaranteed when XMP (Intel)/D.O.C.P (AMD)/EXPO (AMD)/AEMP/AEMPII is enabled. For example, enabling XMP (Intel)/D.O.C.P (AMD)/EXPO (AMD)/AEMP/AEMPII to speeds above DDR5 4800MHz or above DDR4 3200MHz could result in an unstable system."
  7. Why do you insist on an i9-13900K? Do you already own it? If so, that information should be shared. PCPartPicker Part List CPU: Intel Core i9-13900K 3 GHz 24-Core Processor ($500.15 @ Amazon) CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler ($35.90 @ Amazon) Motherboard: MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard ($149.00 @ MSI) Memory: Silicon Power Value Gaming 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory ($97.97 @ Amazon) Storage: Acer Predator GM7000 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($79.98 @ Amazon) Case: Montech AIR 903 BASE ATX Mid Tower Case ($65.00 @ B&H) Total: $928.00 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2024-04-26 13:00 EDT-0400
  8. Consider an Intel CPU. It should offer better overall performance. This build suggestion includes a motherboard with two Thunderbolt 4 type-C ports. If they are not needed a less expensive motherboard could be used. I've included a low-end GPU. This will deliver a smother visual interface. PCPartPicker Part List CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K 3.4 GHz 20-Core Processor (€454.95 @ Megekko) CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler (€38.90 @ Amazon Netherlands) Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z790-I GAMING WIFI Mini ITX LGA1700 Motherboard (€347.00 @ Amazon Netherlands) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws S5 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory (€231.84 @ Azerty) Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (€176.00 @ Amazon Netherlands) Video Card: Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 6500 XT 4 GB Video Card (€172.81 @ Amazon Netherlands) Case: Corsair 2000D AIRFLOW Mini ITX Tower Case (€73.00 @ Amazon Netherlands) Power Supply: Cooler Master V SFX Gold ATX 3.0 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply (€163.85 @ Megekko) Case Fan: ARCTIC F12 PST 53 CFM 120 mm Fan (€10.49 @ Amazon Netherlands) Case Fan: ARCTIC F12 PST 53 CFM 120 mm Fan (€10.49 @ Amazon Netherlands) Case Fan: ARCTIC F12 PST 53 CFM 120 mm Fan (€10.49 @ Amazon Netherlands) Total: €1689.82 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2024-04-25 23:47 CEST+0200
  9. The differences between GPU of the same model are mostly related to cooling and noise levels. Actual performance differences are relatively small.
  10. You can use se.pcpartpicker.com for local pricing and availability. Then post the permalink or a BB formatted build. This provides more details on parts like memory speed and timings. The Pure Rock 2 CPU cooler is suboptimal for the CPU. I would suggest a PSU that conforms to the new ATX 3.0 standard. PCPartPicker Part List CPU: Intel Core i5-14600K 3.5 GHz 14-Core Processor (kr3954.00 @ Amazon Sweden) CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler (kr489.00 @ Webhallen) Motherboard: MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard (kr1924.00 @ Amazon Sweden) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory (kr1523.00 @ Proshop) Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (kr1899.00 @ Amazon Sweden) Video Card: MSI VENTUS 2X BLACK OC GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB Video Card (kr4979.93 @ Amazon Sweden) Case: Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower Case (kr1790.00 @ Komplett) Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS GX-750 ATX 3.0 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (kr1333.00 @ Computersalg) Total: kr17891.93 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2024-04-25 14:48 CEST+0200
  11. Return the memory. The timings are not good and using two different memory kits is contraindicated by DDR5 motherboard manufacturers. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/xQcgXL/corsair-vengeance-96-gb-2-x-48-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-cmk96gx5m2b6000c30 resolves these issues. The GPU in your build list does not have a radiator. If that is the model you acquired or did you get https://pcpartpicker.com/product/VtPQzy/msi-suprim-liquid-x-geforce-rtx-4090-24-gb-video-card-geforce-rtx-4090-suprim-liquid-x-24g? Regardless of case the goal should be to establish good, unconflicted airflow through the case. If the acquired GPU is the one in the build list consider the Lancool 216. If you actually have the liquid version the 5000D Airflow would be okay. No additional fans are needed in either setup.
  12. Pcpartpicker is a bit picky when it comes to USB-C headers and ports. The motherboard header supports Gen 2x2 (20 Gb/s). The case USB-C port doesn't support 2x2, so it will run slower. You should be able to use the case cable without issue.
  13. Looks good. But consider a 360 AIO like the LS720 or LE720. Corsair has different memory kits for AMD and Intel CPU. Please make sure that the chosen kit contains XMP profiles intended for Intel systems. The i7-14700K is the standout Raptor Lake Refresh CPU as it has 4 more e-cores than the predecessor i7-13700K.
  14. Get a better PSU. One that is ATX 3.0 compliant with native support for the 12VHPWR connector used by the GPU. Perhaps https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/product/phVmP6/thermaltake-toughpower-gf3-tt-premium-850-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ps-tpd-0850fnfagu-4.
  15. The i9-14900K really needs a 360 or larger AIO for optimal performance. New CPU coolers come with thermal compound. There is usually no reason to buy more. The motherboard is excessive. The memory kit is intended for AMD CPU. PCPartPicker Part List CPU: Intel Core i9-14900KF 3.2 GHz 24-Core Processor ($849.00 @ Amazon Australia) CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 Rev. 2 56.33 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($159.00 @ Mwave Australia) Motherboard: MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard ($349.94 @ Amazon Australia) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory ($175.00 @ JW Computers) Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($328.80 @ Amazon Australia) Video Card: MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16 GB Video Card ($1798.00 @ JW Computers) Case: Fractal Design North XL ATX Full Tower Case ($285.00 @ Centre Com) Power Supply: ADATA XPG Core Reactor II 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($229.00 @ JW Computers) Total: $4173.74 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2024-04-23 13:55 AEST+1000
