  1. I've also encountered issues of the outer sleeving pulling away from the adapter end. So I would recommend these guy even less now ...if that's even possible.
  2. I found Volta Cables (the Company) to be absolute wankers... (or perhaps it was just the employee I dealt with) I ordered a 2m Cable with Micro USB tips.. Unfortunately the 2M cable only comes in the QC3.0 variety, which means on a micro USB device u can not connect the cable to the tip in any orientation, it will only work one way ...which almost negates the benefits of the cable in the 1st place. At 1st I thought the cable was faulty and emailed Volta. Adedayo replied and said that is normal for QC3 cables on micro USB devices. However this is not (or wasn't when i ordered) specified on their website. Infact if you select a 2M cable, then go to the specs, it states it works on micro usb (nothing about one way only etc) Several emails exchanged, including me providing screenshots of their website ...including where they guarantee 100% satisfaction etc. Not to mention there is no mention on their website of the cables not working in both orientations. Eventually the email ended with Adedayo saying "this is not true" ..wasn't sure what he was referring to, so I twice emailed asking him to explain... nothing. So I sent one more email "Fuck you" ..and went on to explain how their website was misleading, and mentioned i had not received notification of a previous credit they promised me for sending another cable without packaging as promised. I can not recommend giving these guys any money at all !!!
  3. Are any of the LED's illuminated red right next to the 24 pin mb ATX connector ? ..if so which one(s) ?
  4. Right now my 5960x is in for testing. I attribute this to folding too ...my K95 also but I can't put this down to folding. Both are one year old. People who say folding doesn't harm your system perhaps forget to add 'at least in the short term' to the end of their statements ? Whilst I can't be 100% certain of this I did have a GPU and CPU, both very expensive models die within 12 months with doing nothing more than folding.
  5. Speedtest ugh head to pingtest.net and check your jitter. If on a wired connection, then anything above 1ms, would have me rebooting my router ...via a power isolation not software.
  6. Seems I spoke too soon earlier in this thread. My vv key often does a double character and the 9 key on my numlock will either not work or do 2 also. It's 1 year old now. It's a cool looking keyboard but that's about it. For the money it's junk. The software sucks ass. Though it's improvved much.
  7. Hi guys Been awhile since I posted here ...not since I announced i'd reached 100M points and was stopping. Few of you may recall my Titan X fried ...well a fortnight ago my i7 5960x also died. Again I can not point the finger at Folding, but i can't see that it helped Cheers
  8. Yeah the CUE software sucks ass, though it's gotten much better. Open CUE, go to update and choose Force update from servver This fixes fucked installs
  9. Thankyou ...I'll still check the rankings from time to time.. I may return, who knows, or I may look to another project. Cheers all.
  10. Mine's just under 1 year old and like perplex above, I've found mine to be good h/ware wise but awful software wise. It can hang, freezing the RGB cycling, making me look like a noooooooooooob Some of the earlier CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) updates didn't update at all ...however that was early on in the piece and things seems much improved now.
