  1. Thanks for the tip, I will need to measure it precisely. B cause I have the kraken which is a 27mm, and the clearance with the mother board is super close I will check thanks.
  2. Hi, Yes those are my specs. I am in Taiwan for the time been. And since I am renting I can not get an extra AC for the room. I ghetto cool the room now with a large stand fan blowing cold AC air from the room across. It does work but not by much. I was thinking a large 360 and a slim 280 on top. Just struggling now to find such slim 280 rad.
  3. How to ruin a case in style! Best build I have seen so far.
  4. So I decided that it is now time to go fully underwater. The Custom bios on the Titan is running it hot, and my room goes obave 40* with it on. So my two options are to get a kit from EK, the basic 360 or the extreme, and add a gpu block/back plate and extra 2 fittings. I thought the extreme should be good enough to cool everything. But for about the same price I could go with the basic, add a slim 240 rad on top of the case. Both run about 600$. I do plan to add an other TitanX once proper 4k panels come out (proper for me). I am not looking for sub zero temps, but I would to try and keep it all under 55*. Well thanks for the input guys.
  5. well, I haven't seen much reviews about the HG10. What i like about the EVGA is that it keeps the blower design, so all the hot wait will be out of the case. I have the Ram OC quite a bit already, and i plan on pushing it a little more since i have tested that i can increase by 700 already, but due to the heat i keep it at 550. Scrap yard war, yeah.... no thanks lol.
  6. Hey, So it's been 2 month that i have been waiting to get my hands on the EVGA AIO cooler for my Tx. Still impossible to get one. I went on EK to build a cheap 120mn loop for it. but the cost is still about 300+, or maybe i am looking at the wrong items. The NZXT Kraken is keeping my CPU very cool, i never go above 55*, i will change the fans to some quieter ones soon, I don't see the point of swapping it out for a full loop. If you have any knowledge of more affordable parts that will still over good performance, i would appreciate very much so Now that i have flashed the BIOS it is starting to run hot. I used to be able to keep it under 60* but now it hoovers at 75* and is just so noisy. thanks guys Lex
  7. Sorry forgot to: 6.5/10 could have had more if you had change the white balance on the warmer side ( personal taste).Regarding arma 3. Do it's a great game and it looks beautiful!
  8. @ionbasa Looks like it was taken straight out of Arma 3. But looking at it, I feel a bit of motion sickness, like I am falling in the middle. Did you zoom in while shooting?
  9. I think the vast majority of us are under water, that it is custom loop or AIO. Every one is always asking, what is the best blablabla. How about making a thread with your results. So we can actually compare real life numbers. I will start with my CPU numbers, if you also have your GPU under, then post your results. For custom units, list the basic specs of ur loop (numbers and size of rads, reservoir and pump size, amount of liquid in the loop). Model: NZXT X61 (280mm) CPU: Intel 5820k OC: 4.37Ghz 1.3v Case: H440 on top Fans: stock in push Temperatures: -Room: 27* - Idle: 36* @ 30% power - Max: 67* @100% power - Gaming: 55* @95% power
  10. I am going for an all white and black theme. First build so soft tubing, maybe once I go SLI I will try hard tubing. But I am having difficulty choosing the correct angles for the fittings. 90* for the one exiting the GPU, but the rest can't make my mind,
  11. I was going to keep it simple, but that's is just not in my nature. Here is what I have so far: Asus x99 Deluxe Intel 5820k HyperX Predator 3000Mhz 16gb Crucial Mx100 512gb x2 RAID 0 Gigabyte TITAN X SuperFlow Leadex 850w NZXT H440 NZXT x61 NZXT RGB Hue Now that all of this is inside of that. And the OC has been dialed in. Temperatures are fine by most standards 65* max for CPU and full load on the GPU at 63*. But for me it is way too high. It is now time to go full custom water cooling. Now this is my first WC build. I have contacted some suppliers to help me with a custom loop. If you have any advice please share them, no matter how small it is, I want to know them. My plan is a 360 in front, slim 280 on top, but the location of the pump/reservoir is still a mystery. Specially that I will SLI soon. Advice? One more thing I am looking for, if you know a company that sells and ships outside of the U.S., I am in need of overlays, CF specially. Now onwards with some pix.
  12. what sort of CPU temps are you guys getting? With the front and top off, i get down to 50* under gaming load. everything closed, i jump up to 60* spiking at 69. but if i open the top and just have it resting on top, it goes to 55*. i do have a large OC for a 5820 at 1.32v i also noticed that my exhaust fan is starving the closest fan on the rad...
  13. Is a reservoir a must to cool a CPU & GPU? I want to build a simple 360mn setup...
