290 isn't too far off a 970.

Z97 board, Broadwell support, supports fast RAM and plenty of features and I/O.

SSD, is a must in any system these days that can afford it.

Decent case for the price.

1TB storage for all of your interesting material :)

QUALITY 550W PSU made by Seasonic.

Very balanced imo, you get everything you could need, upgradeability and great performance. No skimping anywhere.

Yes, it makes an absolutely huge difference to program loading times, boot loading times and general responsiveness of the system.

OK, you don't NEED one but I'd very highly recommend one

Not REALLY. It helps a lot during boot time, but once you get past that (and the initial delay after boot), you don't really fell it that much. If you are so concerned about it, just leave the computer on with all the programs open. No mater how fast an SSD might be, it can't beat the 0 seconds loading time of a booted pc with programs open.

Besides, you can always add one later.
