Solutions for sagging GPU? (Gigabyte 780ti)

Iankiller99

Besides taking a zip tie or something and hooking it up to a drive bay to help lift it is there anything else I can to to try make my gpu more horizontal to the mobo? Or is it even worth worrying about? It's not hanging at a large angle and it's only been installed for a few weeks, Would having it installed in weeks prior to having a case on a sort of test bench (mobo box) and having it tilt a little bit (again nothing major tried to keep it as perpendicular to the board as possible) have anything to do with the sag?

Thanks,

Ian

You can put a fan or lift up the gpu, of course it looks like shit and im not sure if it works in non-zalman cases.

Maybe try running the pcie power cables from the top of the card down into the connectors would help hold it a bit higher. That is what I do, but straining them is probably not the best solution.

Try running the PCIE cable from the top down, or put a backplate on it.
