Needing help building a PC between $1750-$1800 AUD

melias24

Hi, i will have $1750-$1800 AUD to spend (including postage using post code 4802) and my preferred website to use is either Mwave: http://www.mwave.com.au/?gclid=Cj0KEQjw6deeBRCswoauquC8haUBEiQAdq5zh2SZCTFAoSPelY8MjPAq2H_qzxsmqgPiG_lXz-8zqiQaArok8P8HAQ

Or Computer Alliance: http://www.computeralliance.com.au/

I will be using this for gaming, i had my eye on the NZXT h440 if from mwave (link:http://www.mwave.com.au/product/nzxt-h440-mid-tower-case-redblack-ab53813) or  the corsair 750D  (link: http://www.computeralliance.com.au/corsair-full-atx-obsidian-750d-case-black-with-window-(no-psu) from if from computer alliance. I would also like it to include a GTX 780 (Not a gigabyte one! heard they've been selling faulty GPUS!) an overclockable CPU (if over budget with a unlocked CPU, then ill be fine with a locked, i will upgrade when i have the cash) and for it to be able to have wifi and to have the functionality to be able to upgrade to SLI in the future (bigger PSU and sli supported mobo)

I already have 1 1080p monitor, and i dont plan to run more than 1 monitor. I already have all my peripherals.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who helps me out!

~Elias

Just these 2. PCCG stings too much for shipping up here, so GTX 780 at 1080p wont get good frames?.... Should i get a Classified GTX 770 then?

A 780 will get great FPS but its overkill for 1080p. With my 760 I have almost no problems running most games at 1080p ultra. You would be better off with a 280x than a 770.

OP if you aren't opposed to buying used, there are a LOT of good deals on R9 280x/290's on eBay. I'd check there and see if you can get a good deal on international shipping, and all in all you could get more bang for your buck so to speak.

As for the build, @SAV1OUR has you covered for the rest of the specs. Good luck with the build.

Well you already gave him pointers, it seemed useless to tell the guy the same thing, and Watchdogs requires 3 gigs of VRAM to load ultra textures, no questioning that.
