No Signal

I just built my PC 2 Days ago, during that time Iv'e been trying to get the LG TV to get a signal from the PC, Iv'e tested the HDMI ports with a PS3 and they worked, when I try to change it over to the PC, it just gives me no signal, keep in mine this is a RTX 2080 strix, it only has HDMI, DP, Type-C ports. So a buddy suggested that I take out the GPU and use the motherboards on-board graphics (The monitor I had from my old computer only had DVI, and the motherboard had a DVI connection) I tried it and it still gave me a no signal, I also tried this with the LG TV but with the HDMI ports. As of right now I don't know what the issue is, and I've just been frustrated the last 2 days. I've also already tried taking out the memory and cleaning it, that did nothing. So if anyone has an idea of what I've done wrong pls tell me

Did you try changing the projecting mode on your computer? or does it recognize the screen at all?

It does not recognize it at all.
