Alrighty! Some background. I put a RX 580 in my system a few months back, this was an upgrade from a GTX 745. Before I did any of this all my games ran just fine with no issues. So the RX 580 ran just fine for a while but then it started to crash games randomly... I would occasionally get an error message saying "ran out of video memory-game closing". Mind you this was in rocket league, and the specific card I had was a 8gb model. So this left me pretty confused. As games like Battlefield 1 and 4 both which I had running at ultra were running just fine.

Thinking that is was the card being a lemon from the factory I sent it back and got a refund and put my old GTX 745 back in my PC. But the problems still presist... and the game list is slowly growing. Games I could pla7y before now just crash randomly. These games include Payday 2, Rocket League, PUBG, and ARMA 3. Im not sure if its an issue with steam itself or a hardware issue. As all of the game files have been verified and I've even tried to reinstall. Nothing helps. Any insight would be a great help.

Here are a few pics caped from task manager after PAYDAY 2 crashed.

Why does it say GTX 745 in the screenshot, I thought it was the RX580 you're asking about

I returned that card because I thought it was a lemon from the factory and put my old gtx 745 back in. But the issues still happen so im at a loss
