Posted October 5, 2018 It does stutter in CPU heavy games, like For Honor, (my brother's PC uses a 970 and 7400 so I've got some relevant data) so watch out for that but otherwise you're good I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B Primary PC: i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me. Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference. How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
 Posted October 5, 2018 Could cause stutter in some games. I went from an i5 6600 to an i7 6700 because of inconsistent framerate in Overwatch. If you haven't built this PC yet, I highly suggest getting a Ryzen 2600 instead. Posted October 8, 2018 I don't think it should. I have a 8400 with 970 and my 970 is at 100% usage in most games except very CPU intensive ones. My stuff: Spoiler CPU : Intel i5 8400 | GPU : MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4GB RAM : 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 @ 3600MHz Mouse : Logitech G502 HERO SE | Keyboard : Mountain Everest Max w/ Cherry MX Brown Headset : Beyerdynamics DT990 Pro 250Ω w/ AT2020USB+ Monitor : Acer XF240H @ 144Hz
