yeah the title says it all my DVD burner can't burn anymore

and yes i know DVD's are the past and you can download everything from the internet but i don't have good internet connection it's like  1mb down and 24kb up so yeah not really great so anyway

it works fine i can use it for installing windows and install games from the DVD but it can't burn anything

every time i  want to burn use empty disc this come up

If it is not a faulty SATA cable or port, then the DVD drive is faulty.

Dvd's are not a thing of the past and are used alot today, maybe for people that use a pc for gaming yes dvd is not used at all but for a pc that is used for everything else, a dvd is very important. 

 

on the matter of your dvd not working did you load a clean empty dvd? and also try using something like poweriso instead of the windows default.

i tried 5 DVD's and non of them work i used nero and poweriso still nothnig

ok but it works fine i can't use it for reading media files or installing games and windows if it's faulty then  everything is not going to work
