Hello Guys,

I just wanted to know what settings you guys use in your ryzen master?  i have a ryzen 7 2700x and it does not go below 50 degree Celsius even when it's idle. It starts to jump from 53 to 63 when i open the pc .

I have a profile for gaming where each of the cores has the max speed of 4000 and CPU volt of 1.25 . While in that mode, the CPU maintains the temp around 60 when idle and  I have another profile where each cores uses 3200 speed and volt is 1.2125. During that mode applied, the CPU maintains the temp of around 50--52 degree Celsius.

I know it's not normal that it doesn't go below 45 when idle and I was wondering if my ryzen master settings were the cause of the heat or is it something else.

suggestions are welcome !

According to Ryzen Master, I'm at 37C idle @ 1.35V.   This is using the Ryzen Balanced power profile.

if you have some spare thermal compound i would try re apling it.

Hi so I had a thermal grizzly's conductonaut and I decided to give it a try. Since, the wraith prism (the cooler I'm using ) has a copper base heat sink, i think it wouldn't be a problem. The temperature now is 31 degrees Celsius at idle.

Also, can you tell me if I may face problems in the future for using a liquid metal conductor?

Hi thanks for letting me know.

I had a thermal grizzly's conductonaut lying around and I decided to give it a try. Since, the wraith prism (the cooler I'm using ) has a copper base heat sink, i think it wouldn't be a problem. The temperature now is 31 degrees Celsius at idle.
