PROJECT BUILD: FRANKY

Hi Guys, Im yogz aka DC Modworkz from Philippines. Project ROG Franky was my 1st Build way back 2013 and I just wanted to share it. It my not be enough but a build is build. =)

Hardware

i7 3770K, Asus Maximus V formula, Corsair Dominator GT, Asus Gtx 660ti slI, Coolermaster Cosmos2, Coolermaster Silentpro 1200watts psu, corsair force gt ssd, corsair sp 120 fans and some EK liquid cooling components.

Where was this? I don't remember seeing this.

 

Cabling and tubing's pretty messy.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD


Inside some old case I found lying around.

Hell yeah, Direct CU

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

What did their design and branding switch to? The Direct CU design was incredible, I swear it could cool the sun.
