Hello,

Specs below. I’m going mad with my pc not even posting anymore. I had just bought a new gpu because previously my pc would not even post and would beep 5 times, which apparently means my gpu was the cause of the problem.

I got a new gpu, plugged it in the old pci slot, nothing. Plugged in a second one and it worked! Installed the Nvidia drivers. Success, right? Nope. After a shut down, my pc would no longer post. The fans and everything would turn on but no image whatsoever would appear on my monitor. I’ve been switching back and forth my gpu with pci slots and it worked twice, but after a restart/shut down, the same problem would occur again.

I’m suspecting that it could be my motherboard at this point but I don’t know ?.

Please help.

So you've been switching between PCI slots and it's worked a few times? So that means maybe one of the lanes no longer works. If you still have your old GPU it might be worth testing the motherboard with that, otherwise keep changing the configuration and keep note if one of the lanes continually doesn't work.

That would make me think the motherboard is the culprit.

With my past experience working on ASRock Boards. I normally had to wait 5-15 Min's for the system to post properly. It's probably that or either your motherboard has a problem.
