Hi LTT

So I run a DBAN server which wipes 6 2.5" drives at once. When wiping 6 500GB drives, one drive hogs all the bandwidth and the rest are slowed to BYTES per second. Not even KB/s.

However with 320GB size drives and below they all wipe with fairly shared bandwidth and the time to wipe is cut down significantly.

Since DBAN runs in memory do I need to add more so I can wipe higher capacity drives?

Celeron G630

2GB RAM

450W PSU

2x PCI-e 1x to 2x SATA expansion card

3x SATA ports on MOBO

Thx

Mabye, Try 2 or 4 more, ddr3 or ddr2 is cheap.
