Corsair Mouse Wheel Broken?

I took one of my old Corsair mice with me on vacation so I could still play some games. However when I plugged it in the scroll wheel doesnt scroll anymore. It still clicks and you can click it and move up and down a page that way. However my games require me to scroll to zoom in and out so im stuck playing other games until I can fix this or buy a new mouse.

Can't you just use 1-9 instead of scrolling?
