Hello,

I had issues with my computer and ran the driver verifier, this resulted into deleting a sys file as i was told by microsoft.

Now that the sys file is gone (named mvxxmm.sys) i cannot launch into windows anymore, it gives a bsod saying inaccesable boot drive

i got ubuntu on a flash drive so i tried getting the mvxxmm.sys file back into the syswow64 drivers folder, this was without success...

Is there anything i can do to regain access to my pc?

i rather not reinstall windows as it requires an 8GB drive that i do not own and can't get access too.

is there perhaps another way to run the driver installation exe on ubuntu ?

PS this mvxxmm.sys file turned out to be the SATA controller.

i own a gigabyte z77x d3h motherboard.

Thank you
