My Computer Won't Post!! Help Please!!

My computer wont display a signal to my monitors most of the time. I'm able to get it to post sometimes but just leave it on 24/7 as I'm afraid it wont post again. The problem is that the motherboard will get stuck on a red CPU light and wont do anything afterward. I looked at my manual and apparently its something wrong with the CPU or motherboard, but it isn't very specific. I'm very confused as to why it does this because the computer works fine when it does post and it annoys me that my computer has this problem. Anyone have any ideas? My specs should be in my signature.
