I purchased this motherboard a few months ago:

The ebay seller had also given me the PSU cable that goes from a wall plug into a DC plug that then connect to the 4-pin connector on the motherboard.

I have both an i3-3210M and an i7-3630QM CPU's, as well as different sets of DDR3 SODIMM RAM sticks that all came from working laptops. When I tried different combinations of these parts, the motherboard just makes 4 beeping noises and does not display anything onto the monitor I tried connecting to it.

I contacted the seller, and showed them a video of the system not POST-ing, to which they agreed to take back that unit and give me a replacement one. I received the replacement one, and it still presented the same issue, which leads me to believe that it's on my end.

I've tried:

  • Using different display cables (VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI)
  • Every combination of CPU and RAM sticks.
  • Memory was tested on other motherboards with memtest, none of the sticks showed any errors after 20+ passes.
  • CPU's also were tested on the other motherboards with no visible issues.

The PDF documentation provides almost no insight into the issue. The only POST "code" the motherboard has is the 4 beeps I mentioned earlier: if any issue is detected, regardless of if it prevents the system from booting or not, it will always beep 4 times.

I'm at a loss as to what the issue could be. My best guess is that the motherboard needs a BIOS update, but I can't even find an explanation on how to update the BIOS when I can't even boot the system, and the documentation doesn't describe how to go about updating the BIOS anyways.
