Printer not turning on?

Hey guys.

I have a basically new Brother DCP-7065DN printer that I'm trying to use. The problem is that it doesn't turn on (even after trying 2 power cables).

It was working before I got it.

 

Does anybody have any general printer troubleshooting ideas?

I looked at the Brother website for your printer and the only thing that I could find referencing that it wouldn't turn on was to check and make sure that all the cables are connected.  Sorry.  Oh, another thing that I did find was to make sure to check if your machine required a firmware update.
