First PC build (Gaming)

Been gaming on console for as long as I can remember, and I'm finally ready to make the switch to PC!

As the title suggest I'm looking to build a Gaming PC!

I'm a complete noob and would greatly appreciate the help.

Budget: $800-$1200 USD

Budget only includes the PC as I will pick my own peripherals.

Hey!

Check this build. I think that it is pretty solid build for the money. The option 2 would be going for i5 8400 and for z370 mb like asrock pro4 for example. But my opinion is that this should be more than enough for a good 1080p experience. You can later add cooler for cpu when u decide to overclock it. Until then the stock cooler should be enough. The trident z are perfect rams, the speed is for ryzen (if you did not know ryzen cpus like fast rams). And unfortunately todays market is cruel for the gaming community so the gtx 1060 is the best you can get.
