Can anyone recommend a good set of video cables for the Dreamcast? I got a faulty set of RetroBit ones today and I'd like to find something decent to replace them.

pretty much any composite cables will do

hit up a resale store or something

scratch that, forgot the dreamcast had that semi proprietary connection

really theyre not that complex, theres not going to be much of a range in quality with something like that, just buy another set really and hope it works

there is a range in quality depending on the video connector the cable has on the business end. 

 

the dreamcast could output many different analog video signals from lowly composite all the way to VGA (some games even supported 480p)

VGA? I used the retrobit VGA/SVideo box and it needed to be pushed in HARD. Make sure it's all the way in and give it a jiggle if you have to with the DC on.

 

 If you need component then buy a used OEM set off of ebay.

Tried looking for a set, all I could find were RF Switches

And I got a set of AV cables and I tried pushing it in as hard as possible, which gave me no signal. Moving the cable around a bit gave me a flickery picture.

How does the connect look? Any teeth bent to the side or smashed down?
