I'm wanting to play through Deus Ex: MD for the first time on PC. I've been saving it until it was better optimised.

That might never happen....

So the CPU choices from what I have lying around are: i3 3240 (3.4GHz) or FX 8320 (3.5GHz)

GPU choices: gtx 970 or rx 570 cf (definitely not used for mining :D )

Right now the FX 8320 and RX 570 CF rig is already set up. I have a 1440p monitor and would like to play it at that resolution if possible.

Anything to be gained by using the i3 or gtx 970 instead? Does DX12 make a difference for FX 8320 chip and CF?

Thank you!

Go Jensen!

The FX chip might give you a fairly high boost over the 3rd Gen i3.
