Hello everyone! I recently built my own rig and my dad wants to build his own. He wants something powerful for sure, he plans to run his own private networking server so he can practice computer security for his work.

What we already have

Case: Corsair 460x ATX RGB Mid Tower

What we need:

Everything else

What we want:

We definitely want an i7 build and the max we want to spend is 1100

Some pc part picker builds Ive seen have been around 900 including an i7 and a small 1050 graphics card. Anyone have any ideas?

Would he really need a full on GPU? I would recommend more RAM instead of a high-end GPU since he will be doing server programming.

No, you are right..  I don't know too much, do you have any builds that you think will be best?
