Mitsubishi XD2000U problems

I just bought a Mitsubishi XD2000U from a second hand store I tested it there it was fine. I am not going to use it as a main display for anything just to play with. Anyway

When I got home to mess with it I turned it on and the fans cycle both power and status are solid green and then the status started flashing green and the power turned red with nothing being projected. I did what the manual said wait for it to turn off and try again and press the power several times but is still does the same thing. I tried multiple plugs and outlets.

Sorry, I was thinking those projector things went the way of the dinosaur.  With large (and some of them are really large these days) I was under the impression they didn't make this things any longer.  Good Luck.

Just taking a guess here but is there the possibility this problem was the reason it was in the second hand store to begin with?

So i got this projector from a second hands store. it worked their but when i came home it wouldn't work. i replaced the lamp yesterday and it worked great all day. now to day it is giving me the same problems as it used too and it won't work. it turn on and the fan cycle and then the status flashes green and the power is red.
