Clicking sound??!?!?

The psu is a Seasonic M12ii bronze evo edition 520 watts. I've had it for a year now and it started to sound like this every time I open my pc up. Am I supposed to be worried about it is it normal?

Is the fan facing up or down? I've had issues where an internal cable shifts and is getting hit by a fan? That's my first thought. Are you 100% sure it's from the PSU and not another case fan or GPU fan?

The fan was facing down, but i changed it earlier to facing up.

Make sure that no cables are hitting the PSU fan. If that's not it and you're 100% sure it's PSU, try with a different PSU (if you have one), otherwise, contact SeaSonic about getting it RMA'd

If you can 100% confirm that the clicking noise is coming form your PSU and not another component, since it has only been a year the PSU may still be under warranty.

I can hear it only on my psu. and my receipt says that the warranty is only for 12 months. I bought it last 10/1016

But the clicking sound can't really be heard except if you come real close to the psu.

Update: I tired to stop the fan from spinning using a cotton swab and the sound is still there.

A noise like that, in my mind, only comes from moving parts and, correct me if I'm wrong, once the fan stops spinning, a PSU has no other moving parts. Therefore, check ALL other fans for cables hitting. Basically, check all moving components for interference. If that fails, move your PSU to outside your case to best isolate the sound. It will be easier to check to see where the sound is coming from if you remove the suspected part from the rest of the case.

None of the fans seems to be hitting and cables.

Then, if you're 100% convinced that it is a PSU issue, contact Seasonic. Here it says that your PSU has a 5-year manufacturers warranty, so they should be able to RMA it for you.

and there little to none clicking sound. it clicks then after a few seconds it clicks again.

Can you see if there is anything like a wire or something hitting the PSU fan from the inside?

all i can see is the wiring then a some kind of plastic shield of some sort then the fan.

Ok, but know you know it is definitely the power supply and you should pursue the RMA process.
