I bought an Alienware Aurora r7 recently with the new 8700 i7 and a gtx 1070. Looking at my cpu temperatures during gaming, especially in games like GTA 5 my cpu temp get up to 60-75 degrees Celsius. I know liquid cooling is supposedly better but i'm unsure of how this process works. There is an official Alienware Aurora cooler sold by dell, but it seems to be small and missing the reservoir that I see in most custom loops. Could someone explain how to install this, how it works, and if I even need it or if I could buy fans for my computer instead. The Aurora is small so I would need fans that fit.

The custom loops are called custom loops because they have their own hardline tubes and reservoirs. The part you listed is an all in one aio cooler. Just plug and use, also those cpu temps seem pretty normal, I would only get concerned if it goes above 85.
