So a generous guy gave me his motherboard

Works fine

though there is an issue the ram is not showing up correctly.

Here is a screen shot of what I mean I have tried with two different ram sticks from different manufactures and have faced the same issue (so I am certain the ram sticks are not the problem).

If I run it in dual channel bios show all of the memory but windows has a different plan

it seems windows only want to utilize one of the slots.

https://prnt.sc/fyve6l (With two sticks 4 gb each)

Some one please help I have tried all the solutions I found online they did not resolve the issue.

If I change the slots of ram like this

https://prnt.sc/g15vac (I get full 16 gb/ 8gb) but I get stutters/lagg while watching movie in google chrome it just for a second or so but really annoying and i get the same stutters fps drops in some games as well. Also this kind of ram setup does not show full ram with slot 1 and 2.

My cpu and ram sticks are brand new the motherboard is no longer in warranty so need help.

Even if I can figure out whats wrong I can get the part changed like solder it out.

Any help is appreciated this is one weird issue

I have been searching for an answer long time the search continues hopefully you would have an answer

One: Make sure you are running 64bit, then i would re seat the RAM sticks in the other slots.
