White Define S - Project WOLF

Hey LTT

 

I already did a build log about this build before so this will be more of a update/showing the current state of Project WOLF.

 

Hardware:

 

i7 4790k 4.7GHz

MSI Krait Z97

Corsair 16GB 1600

Asus GTX 1080 ti strix oc

Fractal design celsius S36 AIO 

Fractal design Define S case

EVGA 850W Supernova G2

Samsung/Crucial SSD's

3x Thermaltake Riing 12RGB fans (on the 360 radiator)

3x Thermaltake Riing 14RGB fans (intake fans front)

 

Few mods were done to this case:

 

Case painted 

Added a aluminum Floor wrapped in carbon fiber

Added a fan grill to the front panel for extra airflow wrapped in carbon fiber

Added a vinyl/sticker design front panel

Vertical GPU mount from CM

Custom sleeved cables.

Angled the moduvents on top panel for airflow

How did you make a vertical GPU mount?

Also, could you show a picture of the cable management in the back? I just got custom cables too and, I'm in need of some inspiration.

the GPU mount is from CM aka Cooler Master. it's called:Vertical Graphics Card Holder Kit

i don't have a picture of the cable management but il take one tomorrow, it's not that great tho :P

Oh really? I thought it was only compatible with Cooler Master's cases.

How did you mount it?

your case needs at least 7pci slots and it should fit.

only thing you will need to do is cut case like so: https://imgur.com/42BcW3f

this is for your GPU monitor cables etc

 

PS: if you're planning on buying one make sure it comes with the pci riser cable

The one on CM's site says that it does not come with one.

Also, I'm not sure if I could fit the card since I'm using a Be Quiet Dark Rock 3.

i didn't buy mine from their site i got it from a local store and it came with a riser card.

yea it won't work with a big air cooler
