I have always used a full-sized keyboard but after the acquisition of a desk with only about two and a half feet of space on the keyboard tray and my monitor taking up the entire desk I needed something smaller. I have had a cm storm tk with cherry mx red switches for a while now and after two years it is starting to break and I have gotten to the point where I have to copy and paste a W in order to type it. I have been looking around for another keyboard with the numpad that is still compact and have had no luck. Does anyone know of either another good tk keyboard or a good cherry mx external number pad? I could also do with a macro pad that is at least 4x5. I would buy the same keyboard again since it worked and is nice but I like a bit of variety and two years is quite a while to have the same thing.

Buy a Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro M. It's meant for people like you who want a numpad, but don't have a lot of deskspace.

image.png.8c531ba216e67147709c48d4981544ce.pngI have one issue with the masterkeys pro M. I may end up buying that and modding it but I'd rather avoid a big modding job especially since I am a mech keyboard noob.

A decent approach I'm sure but I was hoping for a slightly more specific recommendation. A lot of these seem to either be sketchy and cheap or 80 bucks.

Touche. I greatly appreciate your assistance. I may wait a few weeks using a membrane keyboard to see if the RGB medium size comes back into existence but either way this seems like a great option I feel kind of stupid to have not noticed it in a week of searching.
