Hello all, I am looking to buy the Audio-Technica AT2020 USB+ and I have a few questions in regards to pop filters and shock arm mounts.

So first of all My computer is near a window, so wind could factor into say a better pop filter, but I don't know much about the audio side of things and am looking for a cheap but decent pop filter for the AT2020.

Second is I need a arm that is long but sturdy, I had a quick look around but have no idea what I am looking for when it comes to that, Is there a decent one in terms of length and strength that doesn't cost a whole lot?

Any Suggestions?

I would suggest seeing how it copes being near a window before trying to counteract the wind, it is a cardioid capsule so you should be able to 'point' it so that it doesn't pick up too much.

For an arm, the rode PSA1 is expensive but very good, and if you use the AT2020's shock mount then that will reduce mechanical noise transmitted to the capsule.

For a pop filter you can find ones which will clip onto the boom arm simply by searching everyone's favourite river based shop.
