External GPU with Surface book 2?

PaddyShack07

Hello LTT forum, first off I didn't know which subforum I should put this in so I just put it here. But my question is, I just bought the surface book 2 attached below and was wondering if it was possible to run a razer core or something similar with it. I obviously don't know much about computers and knew you all could help me. Essentially I want to be able to take my surface with me but if possible would like to have something at home that when plugged into could boost my performance of the surface and let me play games/ use auto-cad with no hiccups. I already have a pc at home with the specs listed below as well and would like to salvage the parts I could use in the external gpu and then sell the rest to help pay for the surface. Thank you for your help in advance.

The Surface Book 2 has only USB Type-C Ports, no thunderbolt support.

The razer core won't work on it

You can't connect Razer Core but it has gtx1050 which is good for some gaming (mostly esports games and older aaa on lower settings)
