Which one should I get.

I don't really know much about them, so if someone could give me the scoop that would be great.

If you don't know much about the programs I would suggest getting free trails first to see which one firts you best.

I second the trials movement. I took classes for a few years in Adobe software so Premier Pro is my go to, but I also have had to resort to Sony Vegas and i can say that it was hard to transition, but it's all preference. 

 

I personally find Premier Pro easier and noob friendly, especially when it comes to Exporting your video.

 

Use the trials, dont rush it and take your time, try the same project in both and see what floats your boat
