1. Get some ram.

2. No CrossFire, it decreases mining performance.

3. For the OS, Go with Linux as it's a dedicated rig.

4. Any 80+Gold/platinum certified psu from a descent brand.

5. Get a better CPU 1; dual core should be good.

Feel free to give your opinions on my advice.

yea lol of course i have to get ram :)

I'll go with the 280x OC'd

and I'll get an bottom of the line amd dual core

thx alot for the help!

7870 is not the best value for your money.

Get a 7950 (if you can find one)

Or, settle for a R9 280X :D

My 280X that's OC'd to 1200 on the core gets 630KH/s average

yea im probably going 280x OC'd xD

not quite right

sempron is fine, people run dedi rigs with a dozen 7950's on risers, using a sempron for teh cpu. there's not that much IO accross the pcie while your mining. plus xbuntu doesn't have very much overhead.

RAM is pretty irrelevant, as long as you have enough for the OS. considering you're going linux, not much at all, considering that cgminer only uses like 25MB of ram.

just get like 2g of ram, and follow this guide: http://www.cryptobadger.com/2013/04/build-a-litecoin-mining-rig-linux/

you don't even need a hard drive.
