Computer freezes for a second randomly.

My computer will randomly freeze for a second really annoying when I'm playing online, it plays a windows 10 sound when it freezes (I think it's the connect and reconnect sound) though I have nothing plugged in besides my keyboard/mouse and usb headphones. This has been going on for a week or so and I don't think I installed other software  since then.

 

Any idea what it could be?

Yes I'm running a dinosaur but I've never had a problem before.

Could my keyboard or Mouse be dying, maybe usb port  going bad?
