Steam Mic Detection Issue

Hey.

So basically, Steam is not detecting any mic input from my front panel input, bear in mind the back panel input works and I can hear others from the FP output.

 

What's really confusing me about this issue is that Discord and Skype both detect my mic and get a signal from it, it's just steam. All I hear when I use "Voice_loopback 1" in CS:GO is some slight hiss, while everyone in my discord lobby can hear me perfectly! I physically can not use my rear input because of my headset cable being too short.

 

Can anyone help me?
