"console does not support current video mode"

I have a dell inspiron with a gt 730 installed, it has worked until yesterday i installed the unity game engine, and updated windows 10

and every time i start up my PC with the GT 730 connected to my monitor, it says "console does not support current current video mode"

any ideas why this is happening?
