Problems with my keyboard

An error occurred when I was playing a video game. When I pressed windows key it caused some sort of error to occur. Every time I press the letter d on the keyboard it creates a new desktop via task view. I replaced the keyboard with a cheap one down stairs. The same problem occurred. This means that it must be a software issue, however, I don't know how to fix it.
